Sessions focusing on developing speech, communication and choice making skills

Sessions can focus on a wide range of areas; sessions with a focus on developing each individuals speech, communication and choice making skills will focus around the different animals, the activities surrounding the animals (from watching, grooming, feeding to making treats for the animals) and giving time and choice making opportunities at each individuals communication level. We have a wide range of resources using widgit symbols and photos to enable choice making between breeds of animal, individual animals and the activities. With the animals themselves as the focus rather than the individual the pressure to perform is reduced and engagement, motivation and confidence develops.
